Just downloaded the mp3 folder. Watched Joe last night (for the umpteenth time). It was my birthday and feeling a little down and this movie can always lift my spirits. Thanks for the tunes!

I don't think any movie has ever touched me like Joe versus the Volcano. I still cry when the moon comes up. I've never really taken movies very seriously - except this one. Thanks, Tom Hanks and company.

Anyone know where I can get a copy of the movies introduction? I own the movie, but I don't know how to put just the intro on the computer. It just about sums up my life, and I'm about to go nuts like Joe when learning of his brain cloud.

Thank you!

I found this site once long agao, lost it, and now have found it again, much to my delight. I enjoyed JVTV when I first saw it, though none of the other three in my party did. But it wasn't until it was played 8 or 12 times on HBO or some such movie channel that I fell in love with it, right down to the muddy, grungy, slimy opening scenes (I love the petroleum jelly belching out of the huge dispenser tubes like some other well-known substance from another well-known sphincter.) I love the dialog, especially the line, "I have no response to that!" (She feels the compulsion to say something even if she has nothing to say, but is honest enough to admit that she has nothing to say...so simple, like most brilliant writing!) I could quote this movie all day!

Anyway, thanks for keeping this site up, please keep it up for years to come, as I will direct people to it every time I share this timeless piece of beautiful cinema with them.

Wonderful site! It's great to know that someone understands this movie beyond it's face value. A truly rewarding movie if you devote the time to reflect on it. Thanks again. Joe

One of my favourite films. So great to see other people obsessing about it, and making efforts to promote it. Most people don't get this movie. It's one of those that needs to be reflected upon and absorbed. It has a lot to give. I have enjoyed the visit, thank you x

Anyone know where I can get a copy of the The Varese CD for Georges Delerue's Joe Versus the Volcano? It seems to be out of print.

Great site. I am glad there is a place where other JvV fans can meet.

This is one of my favorite films. I hope Shanley tries again.

Every year or so I stop by your site. I'm glad you still have it up. Keep it going.
