I saw this movie when I was six and I thought it was pretty dumb. haven't seen it since. This website has given me a reason to try to find it to rent. Most times though, my judgement on movies that I have seen resonates to future viewings, so I hope you haven't led me astray.

I found the soundtrack on Amazon.
I agree with everyone who's mentioned how rich with images the movie is. It's more like a European movie than an American one - no wonder mainstream audiences didn't get it.
For me the message that resonates most is: The biggest risk in life is not to risk at all.

One of the all time best movies like Princess Bride, Amelie, etc. How can I get a soundtrack?

Well I finally am taking the leap. I quit my job a few days ago and am changing careers (I did some pre-planning so it's not as irresponsible as it sounds). Anyway, I've loved this movie for years and have always cringed at the obvious parallels between Joe and myself (my brain cloud being the low self-esteem that has paralyzed me for since my teens). Although this film didn't directly inspire me to leave, I do believe deeply in it's message. It's time I trust myself and live the life I've always dreamed of. Thanks Joe.

Just watched it again for the 10th time. Ya learn something new every time.. So many details.. Just noticed how the RANDOM enormous dogs keep showing up. Also, The dialogue never gets old..ie."I'm a Flibberdigibit..." And still how I get the same sad-feeling watching Joe in the "New York nite-out" scene... Best scene ever: Golfing on the luggage with Come Go W/ me in the background..classic.

There's now officially less than 500 copies of the Varese SOUNDTRACK to Joe available...so 2500+ copies have sold in just over 2 years. If you've been putting off ordering it I suggest you act soon !

I just thought I would stop by and see what was new.
