I am so delighted that there are so many other people that love this movie like I do! I never get tired of watching it. Hanks and Ryan are brilliant. I can't believe there is a website like this.

I truly love this movie with all my heart, because unless it's fantasy so much of it is true. I'd like to share with you, that when I did an interview with tom hanks in berlin last year, while he was promoting "Road to Perdition", I told him how much I liked "Joe vs. The Volcano" and he replied: "Oh well, that was an odd little movie ..!" and he was laughing a bit.

My friend Phil has a link to this site- so I thought I would go out and get a copy of this movie just to see what the fuss is about. Being someone who basically took some chances in quitting jobs that were miserable in the past- I found myself really relating to the character of the movie. I found it to be very uplifting in the end- and realize how lucky I am to a) be alive and b) have someone be there to love and love me in return. What an affirmation of what life can offer us if only we wake from our sleeping!

I have liked this movie for quite some time now. I recently got the soundtrack and it is nice too. I was hoping to hear that Spanish guitar song that they play in the restaurant but I can't have everything. If anyone knows it, please give me a shout.
