Thank you to Lanny for helping me out. This site is amazing - I thought I was the only one who saw all the connections in this movie, one of the many reasons for loving JVTV. Now, to see my thoughts written down by others is such an exciting validation that I want to watch this wonderful movie all over again!!!

I love this site! I love your selection of sound clips, and I love the "speculation" section's discussion of the allegorical and symbolic nature of the movie. For YEARS I've been trying to explain the movie to my friends who feel it is little more than a cheesy fairy tale love story. "The Goddess" and "What's in a Name" are right on, Patrick Loughlin's essay is very interesting, but I think Adam Baker needs to reexamine his essay. He found the easy answers in the movie and needs to look deeper.

I'm 20 years old, and not many people my age have ever heard of this movie, let alone own it on video, or even bother to put it on their website... however, I think this is a great movie, and although I really didn't get a lot of things about the movie when I was younger, I still loved it... It's one of my all-time favorite movies... Oh, and by the way, that url that I listed, well, I am putting a link to your page on my website, if you don't mind... I just thought that you have so much content, more than I could offer, that someone might benefit from linking to it from my site... if you have any problems w/ that just let me know, and I'll undo the link.
