I'm glad you took over the site, would have been a shame if it went away.

bea: I don't know of anyone who has an official soundtrack to the movies. I got my "make-do" using one of the current Napster type fileshare programs (winmx). There are links on the site.
Mark: All I know about Richard is what he said on the Usenet group...that his former labor of love is more than he wished to handle at this time. I jumped in and told him I'd like to run it since my wife and I are such fans of the movie.

Notes on the new "Joe" guestbook: I never clicked on View or Sign on Richard's original site, so I don't know what it looked like. This one seems to work, but there sure is a lot of onscreen spam on the site (Global Guest) that hosts it. If any of you are annoyed by the ads and know of a spam-less, free (of course) guestbook, feel free to pass it along to me. In the meanwhile, there are ad zappers (I use AdSubtract)which will rid you of most of these "features". Cheers!

joe vs the volcano is one of my top five movies! what a fantastic website. i'm definitely going to search out the legend of 1900. two movies i might suggest are: 'The Linguini Incident' and 'Hudson Hawk'. These movies don't quite have the same innocence or life messages that Joe does but still fun to watch.

your website is really great. i've been wanting a sound track since the movie came out but they in fact never released one. your list and lyrics have been very helpful in tracking down the songs so i don't have to make my own soundtrack straight from the movie. thanks so much!
