It's finally coming out on DVD!!!!!!
Thank God I never bought that laser disc player! This movie is on my top ten list of all time, and my video tape is wearing out.

Easily one of the great films of all time. I find it amazing that it is not on dvd. Someday perhaps it shall be.
I hope one day to find my Patricia.
Actually I hope that for all.

My very intelligent handsome brother in law uses this movie as a litmus test for his dates. He shows it in the first date along with a nice dinner. If his date is bored or lost, he never asks her out again!! Simple.

Hello all - I left a mail at the end of last year. Great to see so many people are logging in to say how much they love this film. It got pretty bad reviews in the UK, in 1991 (wow, over ten years ago), when I first saw it. So it's great to know I'm not alone in my liking it so much. Mind you - I also love Coppola's 'Jack' - another film everyone seems to hate. I think it is similar to Joe - innocent, very well written and an inspiration. Does anyone out there agree?
What is this Legend of 1900 business? Never heard of it. I must track it down.
Best Wishes to you all - my friends.
Love , Jason.

I'm back, I check up on this site every once in awhile. I can't believe this movie is still not on DVD. I am this close to buying it on laser disc! ( but I know the moment I do it will come out on dvd)) I mean cmon even Bachelor Party is on DVD!!!
This is by far one of the most overlooked and ignored movies to ever come out! To me it is a modern day classic.
Anyway got a volcano to catch.

This has become one of my all time favorite movies and I'm learning that many others think as highly of it as I do. Every time I watch it, I am reminded of the greatness in the gift of life and to take leaps of faith. This is a great site! I'm going to find Legend 1900 and see what that's about!

Joe Versus the Volcano is without a doubt my favorite movie! And so I was happy to find this web site. I love the transformation Joe has in the movie. I'm still struggling to have a similar transformation myself, and I don't think any doctors will be telling me I have a brain cloud anytime soon to accelerate the transformation. :o) Anyway, the movie--and now this web site--for me is very inspiring and uplifting. Thanks.
