Just wanted to reassert my position in this guestbook. I actually signed it over 3 years ago, but after scrolling, found my comments were washed away with the South Pacific Seas....Once again, my happiness to find that this movie has touched others means more than anyone could know. What a pleasure to know that I live in a world with other people who are ALWAYS in a state of "constant and total amazement"...

Joe Vs. the Volcano kicks ass. Why can't people see that? I've heard Tom Hanks doesn't even like the movie. Which is weird because the movies he makes now are the bad ones. The Green Mile anyone?

I was lucky enough to catch Joe at the cinema, where the rising moon scene was awesome. My true love of this film though, is the soundtrack. It's a scandal that Georges Delerue's score was never released. Some good news though - in 1998, Velvet Satin Disques released a boot CD called Screen Themes 2, which contains a good recording of the end credit music (includes all of Marooned without you) lasting 4:32 minutes. The run was supposedly limited to 300 copies and obtaining a copy now would prove difficult. This is a great site that recognises the true value of an underated cinematic gem. All the best for the future.

Great movie....great site! Shame they never made a soundtrack. My mom, since I can remember, has always said, "I have no response to that!" Keep it up!
