I used to think that I was the only one on the earth that loved this movie. Then my wife became a believer. Often we communicate using lines from the movie. One day, just for fun, I typed in the movie title and ran a search. I was a little surprised to find so many occurances.

Joe VS. THE VOLCANO was an extraordinary movie filled with spiritual and magical suspense. I'm glad they made this movie!

Finally I've found others who appreciate just how magical and wonderful Joe's story is! JVTV is one of my all time favourites and I've never understood why so many people either have never heard of it or "don't get it." It is the ultimate fairy tale: "Once upon a time, there was a guy named Joe..." and it so eloquently expresses the beauty of life and living...and how so often it is overlooked. I like to think I'm one of those who "live in a state of constant, total amazement." But when I have those times when I begin to lose sight of that, I just pop in this movie and get a refresher course! You've done a wonderful job with this site...thank you for sharing it!

I am so thrilled to know that others appreciate the wonder of this movie. I have thoroughly enjoyed wandering around this site and reading others' impressions and interpretations of the themes running through this magical story. I think it's disappointing that this film is often dismissed as simple and trite by those who miss the poetic beauty with which it portrays life's journey of self-discovery. I'm glad that the magic is not lost on everyone!

i was looking to find and buy the soundtrack. now, at least i have gotten the names of all the songs. i thank you. i loved the movie. tom hanks is one of my all time favorite actors.

This is my very favorite movie of all times.
I am a big movie buff and would be a great
critic. I have the distinction of knowing
what is good in art and literature. This
is definately one of the top movies that I've
ever seen. The acting is superb. And, Tom Hanks
glows on the screen with such innocence. I love
it. What more can I say?
