This is awesome. I am usually ready to be disappointed when I search for movies I love. I find that movies with very strong characters interest me. People interest me, and I like to find humor in the things people do and say. Like physical humor, but not

I saw it the first week it was out in the theater and was amazed. Went back the next week to see it a second time and it was already gone. It was brutal to see such a quality movie become such an instant commercial flop.

When it hit video it arrived at the $80 "rental only" price. The local video store couldn't rent the few copies they had, so I bought one off 'em for $20 in brand new condition.

Something about this film hit home for me when it was released. I could really relate to Joe.

With reference to the previous guestbook entry, I don't expect everyone to like this web site (or the movie, for that matter). What a boring world it would be if everybody liked the same things.

Whoa, only on the internet..... Just when I thought I was the only one who really appreciated this movie... This is a great website tailored just for this film! This film is one of my favorite movies. Of course im a rabid Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan fan and I cherish the 3 movies they have made together. Im glad to see there are others out there that feel the same way as me about this almost magical movie!

I love this site! It's the greatest Joe site on the Internet! It's a wonderful tribute to a wonderful movie!

Still one of my all-time favourites! JvtV, is one of the few movies I've bought for myself.

I am 48 years old and this movie has had a fascination for me for about eight years. It's
almost like there is a tremendous, life-changing message for me in it, but I have to find it. (By the way, when I was younger, I actually worked in a place eerily like the rectal-probe factory). You have a great web-site with some intriguing interpretations of the film!

The first time I visited this site I felt like I'd seen it before!!!
I am so glad others appreciate and love this movie as much as I do. I think everyone else must be asleep, and we are the few that exist in a constant state of amazement. It's been a long time comin' here to this site, a long time on a crooked road :)

I am glad to see that there are others who can appreciate the vision and magic of Joe v. Volcano. Unfortunately, too many people who see the film are "asleep" and don't get the deeper meanings. I think it would be interesting if you could add any quotes from the stars about the film. I saw a Time & Again segment about Meg Ryan that had a very interesting interview with her about the film.
