Just wanted to say, great site. I'm fond of the interpretations, though I certainly don't agree with a couple. In fact one of them scares me.
I think more people should put their thinking caps on and interpret this terrific movie. Other opinions must exist!

As an artist I love this movie. Great visuals, a great selection of music with a specific tune which unifies the film. This is a truly magical film which I watch constantly. It lifts my spirits and challenges my dreams. I think more people should be open to what each movie can offer to every individual. Loving it.
Moon scene moves my spirit! Great art direction!!

I love you.I love your Homepage. I love Tom Hanks, I love Meg Ryan and I love especially "JOE VERSUS THE VULKANO"! And I HATE the german television because they don't show this great movie. And I don't know how to get it on video. Verfickte Scheiße!

Ok,
I just got a cd writer and I want a soundtrack.
I don't want to buy all the cd's with the songs on it.
But I'll buy one or two.
Anyway, if you want to get a soundtrack let's get together
everyone buys one or two cd's, sends them to me or whoever, and I'll send copy the tracks onto a cd. Then copy them for the contributors.

I've been a longtime fan of this near-flawless movie. I saw it on the big screen in its first run and walked out of the theater enchanted, dazed, and happily bewildered at this glimpse of what can be done with film. I've since watched it on video at least
